Assembly Technician IV - Medical Device

Our client is a surgical robotics company enabling better patient care by developing transformative solutions in urology. With an initial focus on BPH, the company’s Robotic System delivers Aquablation therapy, the first FDA-cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real-time, multi-dimensional imaging, automated robotics, and heat-free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue. Aquablation therapy offers predictable and reproducible outcomes, independent of prostate anatomy, prostate size, or surgeon experience.
SUMMARY
Our client is a fast-growing Surgical Robotics company and in order to meet the growing demand for our product, we have lots of opportunities for Manufacturing Assemblers to join our growing team. We are hiring our Assemblers directly as full-time employees. We will also hire our Assemblers as Temps with the opportunity to convert to full-time employees. Description; Assembles products, such as medical devices, partially or completely, working at the bench, clean room, or on shop floor by performing the following duties.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be required as assigned)
Position parts according to the knowledge of unit being assembled or following standard operating procedures or company approved standardized protocols
Perform many assembly types functions, using hand and power tools
Assemble components into a completed product by following GMP and approved procedures
Assemble parts under a microscope using small instruments and microscopic devices
Perform a wide range of complex tasks involving repair and testing
Understand assembly processes and SOP’s·
Follow defined procedures to achieve expected Quality output
Recognize and communicate to Production Lead complex build difficulties and/or product faults in a clear, concise, and timely manner
Recognize and diagnoses and communicate routine problems
Work with R&D & Operations team to relate process improvements for changes in Work Process Instructions for Company’s products
Interpret assembly drawings
Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the company's Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four-plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working on CER environment experience is desired
Ability to work as a team member
Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment
Laser welding experience is a plus
Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the company's Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
Understand and adhere to the company's EHS policy
